Not that good was it?

I heard that the master tapes got stolen, shame they found them !

- Lame attempts at humour.
- TOTALLY CRUD sword fighting & archery (I've done BOTH so I know what I am talking about).
- Totally screwed up the origin of RH (How can he be Robin from Locksley & The Earl of Huntingdon at the same time??????).
- Disjoined story that seemed to go nowhere.
- Poor acting.

The only reedming feature was Maid Marion.

Even the DIABOLICIAL 'New adventures of Robin Hood' (US 1990's version) was better than this one.

If you want a good Robin Hood you need to look at 'ROBIN OF SHERWOOD' the 1980's TV show.

PS - Budgerigars were not introduced into europe until at least the 17 century, after the discovery of Austrailia

It was dreadful, I hated it hated it hated it. They gave Robin a Saracen bow and sword instead of the English long bow. Travesty! He's supposed to be a patriotic hero dealing with home affairs, not an outspoken critic on English foreign policy! Robin of Sherwood was much better. They introduced a Saracen as one of the merry men without tampering with the legend himself. This RH brought nothing new to the story. The acting was dreadful and the heroes had no personality, no purpose, and far too much makeup! And the costumes! Who did the research? Those Norman soldiers looked rubbish. There was no historical context save for the Crusade, no demonstration of Church power, no proper setting, no explanation of the power structure, just a bunch of weak-looking men sitting around chatting in a castle. Boring!

i watched it after looking forward to it for ages, and i thought it was really fun (and robin hood is buff!) and enjoyable. i see what you mean though, as it was slightly childish - i think the bbc were having a bit of a laugh making it. i think it works really well though, especially since such a large part of the audience will be under 14! its going to do really well, seeing as last night took 8.3 million viewers...! its definately going to be a great series - theyve got loads of story line to build up on and i cant wait for the maid marion plot to kick off!

they say it is the area of the colleges to suitable that. And this is each and every individual's accountability to parent and teach himself that's scientifically a threat and entire fiction. in case you do not arm your self with sufficient understanding by interpreting and learn, you would be definitely swayed by making use of the trolls and you finally end up believing conspiracy theorists. there is only too a lot of them to even think of of extra desirable than being offended on the way they provide unreliable practise. it particularly is the artwork and business enterprise of entertainment so extra valuable buckle up.

It was awful. I was really looking forward to it as well. My 8 year old enjoyed it but next week she can watch it in her room, I'm going back to Ant and Dec!

not as good as i thought it would be, but the glaring mistake thr BBC always make is the immaculate makeup the women wear. lipstick in robinhoods days, Eyeliner and perfect white teeth, and these are the peasants!!!
