try proactive.
if you think it too expensive, go to walmart.
they have this one brand called acne free.
it works the same, in fact better, for me.
and its only 20-25 dollars.
it will clear up acne in like 3 days.
nothing else works better for me.
give it a try.
i have the same problem as you.
i hardly ever break out. but occasionally i will.
use acne free every day.
it prevents break outs.

How old are you? if you are in your teen years you are most likely going to be prone to break outs. Proactive is for severe acne and will quite likely dry our face out. 20 little pimples is not severe. It may seem like it but its not. Your best bet is a good face washing regiment. Get a gentle face wash, follow with a toner to close your poors,{ both alcohol free} and then use a light moisturizer{ be sure to read the back to see that it does not clog poors}. Do this twice a day everyday and you will see a big improvement in no time. For those big pimples that everyone gets from time to time get a spot on.Almost all face wash products make these. Hope this helps some.

Well, there are no stores that sell Proactiv. Though I have to tell you, Proactiv, just like other products, doesn't always work for all skin types. It didn't work for me. I'd use it, then I'd break out. I don't know what kind of skin you have, so I can't tell you exactly what to use.

Here's a list of good websites. The first one is my number one suggestion:

http://beauty.about.com/

Search around the last 3 websites. They might be very helpful towards your problem. Hope this helps!

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Proactiv didn't work for me when I used it. It made my skin really dry and red.
I like Cetaphil face wash. Use a scrub 2-3 times a week. I use Clean & Clear Oxygenating Scrub.
Try products in them with salicylic acid.

Okay, well I don't know how quickly it'll make them go away, but it does help. You can either take two bowls and fill one up with really really hot water and the other with ice cold water. Then take a wash cloth and place it in the hot water. Ring it out and then place it on your face for a minute or two. Then take the rag off and place it in the cold water and then on yur face. I've done this once or twice and it does help.

Or you can buy Medical Apricot Scrub by Equate, This helps fight them too!!! Hope this helps!!

First...make sure you are eating well. Lots of fresh veggies and fruit. Sometimes achne explodes due to hormonal imbalances too so make sure you are taking a good complex vitamin suppliment. Whatever you do...don't pick! Check into Bioelements quick refiner with alpha blend. This stuff is amazing and has cleared up some of the worst breakouts I've ever seen. You can wear your make up with it too and it still works! It also controls the redness associated with breakouts.

Wash your face with a mild facial scrub as one or two times a day. You can use a facial scrub which has a cooling effect.

Try to keep your hair out of your face as much as possible. If you have bangs, keep them off your forehead with a cute hair clip or headband. Keep your hair clean so excess oil doesn't get on your face, if your hair does happen to touch your face.
