All the above answers are rubbish.
You don't have to be invited...in fact technically they are not allowed to invite you.
You must be over 18.
You must believe in a supreme being.
You must come to freemasonry of your own free will (i.e. you have to want to join, they can't ask you to join).
Then you'll have to get to know them...e.g. as a guest at dinner dances and other such social evenings until someone knows you well enough to agree to propose you and second you.
its then like being in a golf club, rotary club, round table etc....a social club raising money for charity.

Who says they are in a position to't connect Masonry? there is an Order called worldwide Co-Freemasonry whose uk HQ is at Ladbroke Grove London and consists of females human beings. The similarity between the two Orders is uncanny and has each and every and all of the attributes of Masonry and much less of the subject concerns that human beings exterior the Order are so generally criticised for. P.S. i'm now no longer in any Masonic Order - yet i be attentive to a guy who's!

start by having sex with goats, apparently that's the final initiation, best to get it out the way first. they seem to go for scoutmaster types, single men who go shopping alone late at night are often asked to join. Male hairdressers and gym teachers get preference too, but not so much as mustachiode policemen for some reason
