i have tried to paste and copy a new profile but it isnt taking..the lettering of the page has changed but the old page has changed. i am a novice at this and have been rendered clueless..would appreciate some help.

I had the same problem in the beginning. I now use http://www.pimp-my-profile.com/generators/myspace.php#
it works great. if you need anymore help just let me know.

Ok, clear out alllll the code you have in your profile...Then stick the code of the profile u like in the hero's section of about me and pay attention where you put all the other codes.
Now, i'd get a center page - code so it centers out your page.
Then u can start adding diferent contact tables and stuff!
