You think YOUR state has some stupid laws? Check out some from my state of California.
It is illegal to spit, except on baseball diamonds.(Burlingame)
You may not hunt moths under a street light.(los angeles)
The owners of houses with Christmas lights on them past February 2,second, may be fined up to $250.(san diego)
Males may not dress as a female unless a special permit is obtained from the sheriff. (Walnut)
Prohibits elephants from strolling down Market Street unless they are on a leash. (San Francisco)
It is illegal to cry on the witness stand. (Los Angeles)
Bowling on the sidewalk is illegal. (Chico)

They were made by the legislators in your state who had not bothered to think through the implications of the bills they were so quick to vote into laws. They do it all the time and don't always bother to fix their mistakes.
There was recently a new law in Massachusetts that got nationwide press coverage because it would result in everyone getting health insurance coverage. A few weeks later the local headlines said "oops we forgot to include children in that health care coverage."

You vote for your city, county and state representitives. These people write and pass all of the laws. So by electing the people who want the things you want you get laws pass

Stupid laws are for stupid people like you.
Obviously you cannot interpret these stupid laws so you are inclined to violate those stupid laws and when you get busted violating stupid laws you feel compelled to ask stupid questions and other stupid people can come here and agree with you.
