Of course you can be a fan! We in the hockey world will accept you with welcoming arms. Google 'hockey' and there should be plenty of info to teach you about hockey. If you don't get anything, just post questions here and I'm sure someone will explain it to you. Trust me, you'll love hockey. It's the greatest sport in the world!!!!!!!!!

Best thing to do is go to a live game be it NHL, junior, minor league or even kids' hockey (i.e., minor). You'll get into more watching it live than on TV which does not do hockey justice.

If you want to really get turned on, watch Washington or Pittsburgh as they have the two most exciting players (Ovechkin and Crosby). Buffalo and NY Rangers are also good to watch. And Chicago surprisingly seems to be all offense in 06/07 so far.

If people in Dallas, Florida, California and North Carolina can learn hockey, any one can.

You can learn everything quickly. For example, we Leaf fans believe that this is the year we win it all. We say this every year...since 1967. We Leaf fans live in a fantasy world...

Yeah, if you are dedicated and truly interested there is no reason why you can't learn.

And watch games with someone who knows it... ask questions.

It's the easiest way too learn.

GO RED WINGS.!!!!
