You should use athletes tape because it allows flexability. I play tennis and I know your hand gets sore. The best is athletes tape.

I would use medical or athletic tape. but if you're taping your hand so it doesn't slip or get sweaty, I use a lotion type product from prince. it's in a small bottle about $5 but when you use a dime size amount, it turns dry like the chalk used by baseball players and gymnists :)

white medical tape. you can buy it anywhere. you may want to use the wrap first so it is easier to get off. (and not pull any hair)
