I was more than sure that I had a urinary tract infection or something of similar qualities. I have had the urge to urinate constantly for quite some time now. I had a urine sample taken and the results came back fine with slight inflammation that the doc said was perfectly normal cos im 17....I do wear tight jeans and masturbate sometimes, therefore I'm thinking it might be that, help! I'm at my wits end, the urge is always there...

You sound like you are experiencing a nervous bladder. It has to do with having a fear that you will not be able to hold your urine until you get to a bathroom, and it tends to make you want to stop at every bathroom you see. It happens to me, too, for opposite reasons; getting older. A person slows down, they know it's going to take longer to walk down the mall to the public restroom, etc., so I basically never pass up the opportunity to empty out wastes, liquid or solid.

With a young man, the answer is obvious: you are thinking about that instrument that performs both urination and far more interesting functions. It's not unusual for your nervous system to start programming in more than the "relief that the bladder is empty" level of pleasure into it. You do take it out and hold it in the process, after all. And of course tight jeans are stimulating, as is every pretty girl who walks by, no doubt. You are at that age.

It's a question of who is to be in charge here, you or your nervous system's semi-automatic functions. You can train yourself to be less nervous and self-conscious about it, and frankly, you know what you need to do to reduce other distractions. Far be it for me to recommend anything illegal or improper since you are under age. But you know how to meet your needs as appropriate. Don't be self-conscious about what is perfectly natural for a 17-year-old human. Not just boys, dear heart!

Oh, but do be discreet. Privacy has many, many advantages.

Urinary tract infections are extremely annoying. Try drinking a full glass of cranberry juice (not cocktail). Cranberry cocktail contains alot of sugar. After drinking the full glass of cranberry juice, drink a full glass of water. This may temporary relieve the symptoms. The doctor should prescribe antibiotics which should clear it right up. Once it is completely cleared up, try taking cranberry vitamins.

take a blood test, it rules out any kind of infection and you might see if it's diabetes type 2, it makes you want to pee constantly, if you're a girl, when you pee, wipe from front to back and if you're a guy, be careful where you stick your penis in, you never know what's in there....

it might be anxiety, actually...are you under a lot of stress? i've found that when i'm stressed, i have a constant need to go to the bathroom too...everytime you feel like you've GOTTA GO, wait it out cuz it might be psychological. if you CAN'T hold it, go, obviously....but chances are you'll see you don't really have to go. hope this helps!
