Are the banks and post offices closed in observice of columbus day?

Post offices are. As for banks, that all depends on what holidays the bank manager chooses to observe. At least in this state that is how its done. Here the mangers pick 7 holidays they can observe. Our bank is closed on Veterans Day and open on Columbus Day. I don't even understand why we still celebrate that stupid holiday!

Yes, they are closed and guess what Columbus accomplished his mission Indians don't have any money in Banks so to honor the man that killed out there population is another slap in the face
