The car doesn't work and it will be need to be towed. Not sure if there is any place that will take a non-functional car.

The problem with donations is that under the new tax laws you can only get a tax deduction for the amount that the car is sold for by the charity. For a non-working car that is not much.

You would be better off calling a local vocational high school that has an auto repair and auto body program. If they take it they can give you a statement that the car is to be used for instruction rather than being sold and you can get the blue book value for it.

sell it to a junk yard. they will tow the car and u get money for selling it to them, they basically just resell the parts like the interior exterior, engine parts, ect.........

look in the yellow pages for a junk / salvage yard that will buy it from you :)
