When I went to a baby shower, they made us taste baby food and try to guess what it was. Also some things that are kinda of fun are trying to are:

Rob Your Neighbor:

What you need: two metal pie pans (or plastic plates), four dice, a big pile of wrapped prizes, a timer.

This game usually begins very lady-like and ends up somewhat cutthroat as everyone tends to get a little competitive with all the activity going on and time running out.

Begin by placing everyone's chairs in a circle. Pile the prizes up in the middle of the circle on the floor. Two dice are placed in each pie pan. One pie pan gets passed around the circle clockwise, the other goes counter-clockwise. As the pie pan reaches each guest, s/he rolls the pair of dice. Every time a 6 is rolled, the guest can take a prize from the pile. If two 6's are rolled, they can take two prizes.

Once all of the prizes are gone out of the center, each time a 6 is rolled, the person who rolled it can steal a prize from anyone else. Things start going really fast around this time, since you have pie pans being passed in both directions (you might roll a 6, and then have another pie pan passed to you from the other direction before you even have a chance to stand up). There are times when you roll a 6 and get up to steal someone's prize, and before you can return to your seat, someone else has rolled a 6 and is stealing your prize away!

Continue "robbing your neighbor" with every 6 rolled until time runs out (however long you decided ahead of time the game would last - 5 or 10 minutes maybe). Then guests unwrap whatever prizes they end up with when time has run out.

One thing we always do is include a roll of toilet paper as one of the prizes. Wrap this one very prettily and the people who helped plan the baby shower get to secretly laugh while everyone fights over this prize - and all the guests get a good laugh too when the toilet paper prize has been opened. There is this sense of anticipation while everyone is finding out just what exactly they have all been fighting over.

And then this one, I've played it, it's gross, but hilarious:
The Diaper Game:

What you need: a dozen disposable diapers, permanent marker, a dozen different candy bars, plastic spoons, paper and pen for each guest

Number the diapers 1 to 12 with the permanent marker. Away from everyone's view (in the kitchen), hostess puts a different kind of candy bar in each diaper (a piece about half an inch big is enough). She then microwaves each diaper just long enough for the chocolate to melt.

The "dirty" diapers are passed around and guests try to guess what kind of candy bar each diaper contains. Have your camera ready, because this game makes for some HILARIOUS photos! (People putting "dirty" diapers up to their noses, people tasting the chocolate "poop") and the different varieties of "poop" make people laugh. (Candy bars with nuts, caramel or coconut work very well. Think Mr. Goodbar, Almond Joy, Snickers)

and another one...The Baby Was Conceived

This is really not a game - It is just pure fun and the guests can get involved.

Have the hostess write down everything the mother-to-be says when she opens a gift. After all the gifts are opened, read the comments out loud and explain that everything she said when she opened the gifts were the things she said the night her baby was conceived. It is hilarious!!!

To let the guests be involved and to take away some of the pressures of the hostess let the guests write down what the mother-to-be says when she opens the gift they brought or have another party helper do it.

Sorry I'm not an american but why do you need games at a baby shower?Isn't it enough to look forwards and enjoy the new, upcoming life?PS: in Europe it even means bad luck to make gifts for an unborn. Enjoy your party and all the best 4 your future baby!
