A nice gift from Target or Williams Sonoma, such as a set of cookie sheets, the silicone variety, and a pleasant cook-book. Also, some nice warmers fro mBath and Body Works in Pumpkin Spice scent with refills. And a lovely set of dish/tea towels , high quality.

I'd say a gift card to a cooking store like williams and sonoma or get her a gift card to a book store, like barnes and noble. Either way, you got her something and that should make her really happy!

Does she have a microwave at her home then present her glass articles or clay utensiles. If not then present her glass bowls with beautiful designs.
You have another option if you want to gift her a dress, try a nice saree.

a day away from the house and her house duties...go with her out to lunch, watch a girl movie and go to the spa together. Someone like that would enjoy it better with the person who is doing the giving

take her away from her regular duties a girls day out or something... get your hair done or feet something.... it's best to unwine (relax) from everything else, your homes with always be there and the same old stuff with be there waitng for you two.... go and have some fun.....
