Hi it sounds like you have just had the beginning of your periods as are 12 years old. It will take your periods a while to settle down. Sometimes girls that first begin there periods bleed all the time, and some bleed every three weeks and some every few months. I know one girl who didnt have another period for a year. It takes ages for you body to settle in to a pattern of coming monthly. So there is nothing to worry about.

Once you start puberty, it takes a while for ur periods to cycle normally each month, so u might only have period once every few months for an year or 2 until ur body gets it all balanced out. it depends on how fast your body is growing.

at age twelve your period can become irratic. It can be once a month for a while or stop for two or more months and then start again. your hormones have just not adjusted completely yet.

it is perfectly normal at 12 years old to have unpredictable periods. As you get older, your periods should become more predictable. Changes in your life whether good stress or bad can effect your cycle.

Don t worry. You are only young so your periods will be a bit erratic and unpredictable for a while. They will settle down though, its just your body s way of coping with the changes of puberty.

You are young and your hormones are still adjusting which can affect your cycle. Stress can also affect your menstrual cycle....It may be awhile before you start a regular pattern of menstruating since you are only 12....it's nothing to be worried about...your body needs time to adjust to this new change...

first, always keep record of your periods so you can tell the doctor if you need to. second, unfortunately, some girls have an irregular period. a doctor or nurse can give you more info about irregular periods.

Dont worry about it too much, most girls of your age havent even started yet, for those who have it can take 3 + years to become regular.
