I had the tissue taken on Thursday. I woke up this morning and I am spotting again. What do you think? I am taking tamoxifin for breast cancer if that has anything to do with it I'm not sure. Please give me your opinions.

this is very common. women on tamoxifen have a higher incidence of endometrial polyps and endometrial cancer which is why you had the biopsy-i would be surprised if this was not explained to you at the time. it is not unusual to be spotting following this. i am sorry to disagree with your other answer, but if you do indeed have cancer of the uterine lining-they will not just take out the tissue you will need a hysterectomy. if it is a polyp, yes they can remove the polyp and leave the uterus. on the bright side, endometrial cancer is usually cured with a hysterectomy. so even the worst case scenario can be dealt with in this situation.

I know this doesn't answer your questions, but...

Was/is your breast cancer estrogen-positive? If so, please email me. You should not be taking tamoxifen!!!

80% of breast cancer is hormone related. The other 20% is genetic.

Estrogen causes cells to multiply, progesterone causes cells to die off. If you have an estrogen-positive cancer, you should be supplementing with natural progesterone to tame the unopposed estrogen that is causing the cancer.

Please read Dr. John Lee's book called "What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Breast Cancer". The breast cancer info at his site is here: http://www.johnleemd.com/store/breast_cancer.html

If you have breast cancer it is possible that you have some precancerous tissue in the uterus. I did and it was removed and have had no more trouble with it.

dont worry.
endometrial biopsy is only for diagnosis, it doesnt cure spotting. just to find out , u dont have anything wrong in the uterus.
women do bleed , mostly due to benign conditions , after tamoxifene.
dont worry

wow. I HATE medications and their (possible) side efffects.

Believe in your heart that it's nothing. It CAN be, JUST nothing. Pray it's nothing, and BELIEVE it's nothing.

I will, too! In Jesus' name --we claim there is nothing wrong with this lady's uterus OR breasts. God, we CLAIM IT!!
