Why do I feel like I have fallen on my rear pretty hard... at different times and different places, (hip, tail bone, etc)? I haven't fallen, and there are no bruises. What's up with that?

It's called pelvic seperation. It's when you get ready to deliver...usually doesn't happen until the six or seventh month. Feels just like that...like it's bruised. Talk to you OB/Gyn, he/she will give you more info about it.

How far along are you? The farther you get the more the baby is going to press on the nerves running down your back and your legs. Try laying in a different position and see if that alleviates the pain. Good luck!`

you sit too much? lol
since you posted this in the pregnancy section i'm going to guess that that big baby is putting pressure on your lower regions, I'm sure it's normal. And if you are sitting for long periods of time, it may be putting enormous pressure on your tail bone! I would try going for walks!

If you are close to the end of your pregnancy it is probably that your pelvic bones are spreading to get ready for the baby to come through! Toward the end of my pregnancy it felt like my hip bones had come out of joint.
