i dont know.
But I think that it is pathetic and shallow.
McDonalds is always hiring and there are so many other jobs that are LEGAL and contributing to the society.

I cant see anything wrong with it, no one throughout history has been able to stop it, why start now?
Your implication is that most women sell their bodies just to make enough money to live on, I'm pretty sure this isnt the case, most of these women think it's easy money to buy whatever 'extras' they may need from life, or to keep some feller happy that they are supporting!
Not much has changed through history!
I'm certain that legalised brothels would take a lot of trouble off the streets, but also certain that women selling their bodies will never be stopped, and I dont think it should!

It is a case of supply and demand. It is also a case of need. In general, these people have a desperate need - drugs, debt, poverty or immigration for example. In order to fulfil this need they pick what seems the easiest route to the most money. Because prostitution is not exactly legal, the money paid for sex is effectively black market prices. Then the woman involved does not always get a fair cut of the proceeds.
The questions I would ask are
1) Why has there always been such a high demand for prostitutes?
2) What are the drawbacks of legalising prostitution.
3) Why has it not been legalised?
4) How do you get women out of illegal prostitution rackets and into a legal and decently paid job? How do you stope them going back to the game again?
Two things I believe would help are to start building proper communities where evryone knows their neighbours and to start building more respect for each other.

Over the years, I've been with many who turned out to be highly intelligent, good company, to say nothing of a fantistic ****.
Many of these girls choose the lifestyle. Some, I agree, are in it to finance a drug habit but, it was their choice to take drugs in the first place. I don't consider drug addiction as a disease but a choice which anybody can refuse if they have any sense. The girls without sense probably couldn't earn a decent living any other way anyway.
however, there are plenty of men happy to finance these girls. They each get what they want. What's wrong with that?
Somebody's going to suggest disease of course, but prostitutes seem to have a lower level of disease than "easy girls". Certainly after 40 years of visiting these girls on a regular basis (I go to the London red-light district about twice a week), I've never caught a thing (and that's usually without a condom). I get tested regularly and have stayed clean all that time. So many of my friends have picked up easy girls, wined and dined them at great cost, bought them presents and then received a present from the girl in return. No thanks, keep prostitution alive and well.

As long as they are not being forced to do it I would set up legalised brothels and make them pay tax and national insurance. This would ensure a relative degree of safety for them and make sure they werent living tax free too. Maybe after a while they would get a proper job as there would be no perks left.
You have to remember that a lot of the men who use these women would be out on the streets raping people if they couldnt get these services so they do us a favour in a way.

Dealing with a person with that type of life style can be a very difficult thing to do, For that kind of life style can be just as addictive as some of those drugs you can buy in the streets where they earn their living. You are going to have to be very patient and stay alert. And find out why they chose that life style over the other things that are available to them. You are going to be tried and tested, and you are going to hear stories that will turn your stomach, But you must never show anger or strike out at them. There is no telling what the psychology make up for that person is, in order for her to accept that type of degradation. But that would be a great area to start from. Also never try to get to close to them for that will set you up to be used and to get you ready for the big fall. Good Luck and be Well................................

A lot of them are very good with social skills. A government program to offer these women an opportunity to break free from their way of life. Offer them free training opportunities for alternative work.
All this would, certainly, have to be skillfully and closely monitored.

you pay that' s all. Think about it no woman should ever be homeless when we all have a pot of gold between our legs. Women sell themselves everyday to get what they want when they need it, which ultimately comes down to money.
