Hi
There is two ways to remove waxes from carpet. 1/ Use a dry clean white terrycloth place it over the wax spot then heat it with a iron on low to med setting checking the spot every ten seconds or so, moving the terrycloth so that a clean spot is on the carpet.

2/ Which is the better way. Heat up a full kettle of water and pour it slowly on the carpet at the same time with a wet vacuum vacuum up the water. Keep on doing this untill the wax is removed.

Place a towel over the area and run your hot Iron over the towel. ...not too hot to burn the carpet. The wax will melt and the towel will absorb it. You can then use a scrub brush and cleaning solution to work the spot out of the fabric/carpet.

Hope that helps. :-)

I remember this trick from reading Hints from Heloise years ago. Put your iron on low. Grab a roll of paper towels. Use a couple sheets of paper towels and *gently* iron until the wax comes through, then grab another couple sheets and repeat. And keep the iron moving at all times! That's important. Just keep replacing the paper towels until nothing comes through anymore.

I've used a dry clean rag/terrycloth place over the wax spot then heat it with my hair blow-dryer daubing up the wax as it warms and liquefies. Don't spread it further out however.

1. iron on low
2. get a piece of old, WHITE cotton t-shirt or an old WHITE sock
3. place the sock over the waxy spot
4. run the iron over the piece of shirt/sock until you begin to see the wax is being absorbed.
5. find a clear spot on the sock/shirt and repeat until you do not see any wax absorbed.
should do the trick.
