I believe we must judge for the very reason you stated. If we didn't, pedophiles, rapists, and serial killers would be accepted. And they simply must not. This means that there IS a moral absolute, which means that all things are NOT relative. It's a hard pill for some people to swallow because it means they may not be living their lives appropriately. It's the truth though. :)

This is a trap question that turns judgment, justice system, etc. into an absolute yes or no. If I answer yes, it makes me out to believe there should be no justice system according to your question and if I answer no, it allows everyone to judge and be judged accordingly. Judging others is hardwired in us. It allows us to decide to hang around, trust, etc. versus who to avoid, not trust, etc. It also gives us a sense of control over our environment. Believing that someone did something because of their personality or dispostion takes away the uncertainty and chaos of the world in which we live. Your question mostly concerns criminals and yes they should be judged, that is why we have a criminal justice system. But it is set up that if the situation, evidence does not convince a jury or judgers, then the person should be let go. As for our daily lives, it is natural to judge but the trick is to also try to step back and consider what situational factors may have led someone to behave a certain way.

There is only one real, true Judge, and no one will go before him guilt free. That is why we appoint or vote for the people we trust to judge and make decisions in regards to the destiny of the serial killers, child molesters , rapist and torturers while here on earth. I am very thankful, that I don't have to make those decisions.

Answering this question requires judgement.
Of course we have to judge. We have to use judgement every day. The thing is that we need to judge people's actions not the person.
Its OK to 'judge' that child molestation or murder is wrong. That doesn't mean that we are deciding whether that person is 'good' or 'evil' we are just judging that particular action is harmful to society. This is both real and necessary for our survival.
Compassion is what's necessary, not lack of judgement.

One should never confuses judgment within the legal system with judgment outside the legal system.
Otherwise we might execute a man who has never harmed anybody in his life for failing to polish his shoes, and show mercy to the mass murderer because his shoes are shiny.
It might be good to work out the difference between judgement and discernment.

I believe you should never judge
If you dont know a person dont assume you do based on their apperance
However when it comes to criminal if their actually guilty to the crime then thats valueable information that u should be taken into consideration

I always try not to. Unless we went through exactly what they went through, we wouldn't understand. It's not fair to judge. There is always a reason for every behaviour.
