It was more likely Vandelay and it came WELL before episode 125. In Episode 34 (The Boyfriend), George uses that name as a fake work site to get unemployment. In Episode 29 (The Red Dot), it's the name of a fake writer that George tells Lippman he likes to read. And all the way back to Episode 2 (The Stakeout), Vandelay is a bastardization of Cordelay, the guy Jerry and George are supposedly having lunch with.

in episode #125 titled "the cadillac" george suggested art vandelay as the name of elaine's importer-exported boyfriend.
