They go into a recycle bin and 1's and 0's are drawn out as required to make new questions.
Unfortunately, sometimes, when one gets drawn out to be used, you find that some silly sod has been at the box and joined them together like paperclips. That is why some questions (especially the sillier ones) get asked over and over again.

they delete it after uhmm a few weeks, unless you want to extend the expiration date. this is so that people would be more active and ask rather than just search for question and answers.

and yes, i have seen the same or similar Q's asked without it being deleted.

They look at the questions, laugh at how dumb the asker must have been and post it in a jokes forum, telling others to laugh at us......

they use them for personal reasons i don't even know why mine get deleted..i once asked to give me all your cheese whats the worst pick up line ever? does that sound bad to you? then they let all the pervs off no questions asked to piss us off!!
