A group of girls keep starting stuff and saying stuff behind my back.. they dont say it to my face and everytime I confront them about it they deny doing anything wrong. Its just been the past couple of months this all started. what should I do?

I know this is easier said than done - but it works. IGNORE them. Ignore them, and whatever they say. IF someone else approaches you and reports a rumor asking "is it true?" Just laugh at it - you can say "what? where ever your getting your information from need's their head examined!" My grandmother used to always tell me, when it comes to rumors, don't try to defend yourself, that anyone who truly knows you, truly knows who you really are - wouldn't believe the crap they hear anyway! And if they do - then they are not worth knowing. The worst thing you can do in this situation is let anyone know it bothers you - that's just feeding these girls desires to continue it!!! The quicker they realize your not affected by them or what they see, they will stop!!! Don't say a word to them! If they say hello - be sure to smile and say a bright and cheery hello back! Being real nice to them is another way to stick it to them. Do not discuss anything you've heard they've said - if they know it hurts you, even in the slightest, they will continue. get even with then. say things behind their backs and starting stuff behind their backs. if they confront to you then just deny it. they probally would know how you feel.
