Tattoos are great - but don't go over the top, they long term statement which you could live to regret. Be subtle and disguise.
Don't go down the route of making a statement either in words or pictures which you may regret or be ashamed of later in life. Remember - skin shape changes with the passage of time.

Tattoos are trashy.
Tattoos are a degradation of a naturally beautiful work of art/nature/God and not an enhancement or improvement.

Do I think you have a right to trash your body? Absolutely! Today's tattoos as a fashion accessory are a disappointing decay of social values (not morals, has nothing to do with morals).

You asked how I felt. That's how I feel. It may not be the answer you prefer, but it is how I feel.

I have 4 of em. I like my tattoo's. They make me different. In a short sleeve shirt, you can only see one, but its about symbolism. Some may frown on then because they are "destroying your temple" but I say its my body, and my money, ill put what ever i want on it. I hate it when people try to play preacher.

this is all down to personal preferance, I have four, three of them are Viking Warriors, and the fourth one is in support of my rugby team, St Helens. I'm getting another one soon, but that's only after I've got enough money. I personally like tattoos, I like the artwork involved with them. (Mind you, I'm a metalhead and they are somewhat compulsory with metalheads)

They are a mutillation. Just imagine a ninety year old with a big wobbly tattoo! They just scream 'hello i'm common or a sailor'.

I don't like them myself. It's something you think you want on your body today and 10 years from now you'll want it off your body. It cost a lot money to take one off then to put one on and it usually leaves a scar where the tattoo use to be.
