PS I didn't mean to imply you're a freak if you're gay, apologies.

I'm 31, single and straight with no kids..
its not because i dont want to be in a "healthy relationship" etc etc.. its just that i wont settle for second best to keep society happy and as for no kids.. i dont see the point in bringing kids into this world unless i'm as confident as i can be that i'll be a good parent and the relationship with the mother is going to last

lets face it, reverse the roles and say women are ugly past it munters.. there'd be an outcry!!!

Well, people think that men need women for everyday things and to fill in what they miss, so if you can do without a woman than there is something wrong with you, you must be gay. Honestly, stupid people that have such thoughts. However, it is normal that at your age, you must find a woman in your life...

I'm 21, and single, I know people say "You've got your life ahead of you" but I don't like being single, it's not fair and not right. I always enjoy it when I've got someone to call my own, someone I can come home to and love. Though that probably won't happen for a long time.

Probably for the same reasons it judges married couples with no children as suspicious - whilst we have evolved past needing everyone to be in couples and to produce offspring, society still feels the imperative for us to breed. Attitudes will change, in the mean time - feel confident in yourself and don't worry what others think..

They wonder if women at this age hate men or there is something really wrong with them too...If your working on a career or something productive it is understood...but if your just 34...no girlfriend...not really moving forward...and still sitting around playing video games and such.....It just looks to people like to are immature and too scared to commit to someone

Because they're idiot. Everyone is single in the beginning anyway.

That, or you're over-sensitive over an expression of sarcasm. Lighten up.

well the first thing we do is think something must be wrong with them. they can't attract girls etc; some never marry just cause they don't believe in marriage. some never fathered kids! wow, emagine that..no kids running round with different mothers?! he has to be gay!!

something that is out of the norm.. people will always questions.. it will never change.

some are just dead set against marriage, just cause they seen how it distroyed their friends.

Cause some people are stupid. They want to impose their way of thinking on others and can't seem to realize that every one has their own"opinions" and way to think.

I dunno. I go on the radio sometimes and was talking about being a celibate. A woman came on the air, very angry with me, saying how selfish I was for not marrying and having children.

Society is just too judgmental. It's your life you choose how you want to live it. If you are happy then that is all that matters.
