Will there be major damage if the cam belt breaks?

If it is a diesel eng. = yes
If it is a gasoline eng. = no you should be ok if your timing belt
broke.

NO ENGINE IS INTERFERRING IT IS THE WIRING U HEAR??
SO PLEASE SEEK HELP BY REWIRING AGAIN CORRECTLY. THAT CAR IS THE BEST CAR ON THE MARKET & VW IS VERY RELIABLE ,U MADE TEH RIGHT CHOICE SO GO BACK TO THE PLACE U HAD THE RADIO FIXED.
