i have a natrual gas well on my property, its just a pipe coming out of the ground with a valve, it puts out about 15 psi of natural gas, i would like to pipe it to my house so i need to know the best way to do it or some links that can tell me what to do

u need to filter the gas and possible dry it. then u need to regulate the gas pressure nat gas line pressure is measured in inches of water (im not going to tell u how many) u need to have a local licensed gas man do all the hook ups and pressure tests, this aint a job for a diy

I'm not sure what state you live in, but in New York, it is illegal to do that. Well at leat the gas company will not allow anyone to do that. We too have a natural gas well on our property, get a check every month for it, but we are not allowed to "tap" into it. It is a major fire/explosion risk!! and definately do not try to do it yourself!! Those wells go down miles and are under a ton of pressure!

Hello, You will need a licensed plumber to do this job so he can follow local codes and your installation will be in compliance. If you do this yourself and some accident results you will be liable. And if you go to sell the house and this is not a legal hookup then you will have to take it out and face possible fines. Good luck
