When a mother do not want to give birth to a baby due to some reasons it is called abortion. Simple. Sometimes it is natural and sometime ladies have to opt for it. Nowadays unfortunately in some countries laides opt for abortion if they come to know that the embroy inside is a female. There may be valid or unvalid reasons. So I repeat abortion is not allowing a embroy to develop in the body of a lady, naturally or by medical help.

When a woman doesn't want to be pregnant she can have an abortion...this is a medical procedure you have to tell the body to get rid of the fetus (unborn baby).
Abortions can also be preformed when there is a problem with the baby (poor development in certain organs) when the baby would probably die anyway...or the mother's life is in danger.

Abortion - a surgery that takes the growing fetus from a woman and kills it when she doesn't want the child.
My opinion - this should be available to rape victims only. Because if you're not willing to use protection, you might as well keep the kid you created during your few minutes of fun.
