I am a senior at high school and currently taking AP Calculus AB. I was wandering if that looks good compared to AP Statistics and finite math. Would colleges feel satisfied.

I'm taking AP calc too and I had an interview with a college rep last week and he raised his eyebrows when he saw AP calc on my schedule and remarked about what a challenging class that must be. He was impressed, so yea I think AP calc looks better than AP stat.

Yes, it does look good to a college if you have AP Calculus...with a good grade. But be warned, high school AP Calculus is NOT Calculus. I have seen lots of AP Cal students come to the college and bomb a College Algebra exam. If you are trying to get a scholarship, the college will be most impressed with your grades in high school. They will look through your classes, but the AP Cal will not gaurantee your scholarship. Also, if you are exceptionally good at math in high school, don't think that you will just blow through your college math tests. It's different, trust me.
