Yes, or at least spit somewhere besides on the sidewalk. You know how discusting it is to be walking barefoot on a summer's day and find you've stepped in someone's spit?
Oh, and the whole thing about spreading germs by spitting is just gross too.

It depends upon where you are at.... AND, what you are considering spitting out or swallowing....
Don't spit on sidewalks.... or people's beds or carpets.... probably shouldn't spit in a car either....
And, don't spit into the wind....

dont need to be ironic just realize that you should not spit in fron of everybody because thas rude, instead move away and tray to spit more privately so you dont give any rude position to sombody else
