I HAVE LIKE THE SAME PROBLEM! AND THE GIRL IM DEALING WITH IS IN NEARLY ALL OF MY CLASSES! so anyways, just tell her that everyone need privacy, or start hanging around with your friends, talking, sharing life lessons, laughing, and when she comes get serious, and talk about school or something. shell eventually get the point that you are just not interested in forming a friendship with her. or just BE HONEST with her,
peace out, Flippy

Friendships come in all shapes, sizes and levels of intensity.
Some friends you play soccer with and some you only see at school and some you do homework with and some you can talk to about absolutely anything. Figure out what kind of friend each person is and don't expect them to be some other kind. And yeah the girl who was your best friend for years will suddenly become scarce when she gets a boy friend. That's just the way it works. Probably the best thing you can do is have enough friends so that you won't be devastated when one goes missing or lets you down.

does she have any friends? maybe she looks up to you.. i had the same problem. Would you mind her calling and dropping by once in a while? If you dont mind tell her that you want to be assosiates but she can still call or come over when she needs a friend to lean on.. ya know?

to be quite frank with you, you have not been very nice to her at all. you could have left it at just hi in class, but you let it go to another level by accepting her money and her to do your homework. you used her and now its not convinient for you to have her around when you dont need her. your should feel greatful that she is willing to be your friend. instead of "letting her down easy" you should be considering how to apologize to her for using her and leading her on.

You will have to tell her outright that she is annoying you with her behavior. There is no easy way of doing it. The longer you wait, the worse it will likely get.

Try ignoring her. If that does not work, then you will have to sit down and talk with her. This can be a sign of obsession as well.
