I have until the end of this semester to choose a major for my bach. Currently I'm an LPN which pays pretty decent. I neeed to choose a major that will pay as well of beter than nursing. I am in my last semester to get my AA. I want out of nursing. I want to choose a major that will be financially lucrative, (not teaching or social work obviously), not require a masters or extensive math (not engineering obviously) and something that eventually I can have my own business. My strengths are: good people skills, teaching, patience, okay w/ math, disciplined enough to do distance learning, excellent writer. Weakness: age, time, small kids, math, money to pay for classes just to mention a few. I've been considering accounting. Any other ideas?

There are very few majors that will guaruntee that you will make a lot of money. Basically, anyone who is exceptional at their job has the potential to make a lot of money. But, the amount of money will be different in different fields.
