i have trouble starting conversations with guys or getting guys to go out with me...what r some good conversation starters. and what r u guys interested in? And no i am NOT ugly so don't even put that as an answer!!!!!!!!!!

just say hi, and how are you or how was your day. Or if you don't know him, just ask what's your name and put "again" as you would know his name before ;)
And from there you already wikll see what he was doing and stuff. Like if he says: "Oh, Im really tired"; ask him "Why?" and there you go, he says I was on party or something, ask him where, when with who and you get a full conversation, plus you show that you are interested in what things he ios doing and interested in him in a whole.
Good luck and just be yourself, and try to be comfortable around the guy, smile and have a long eye contact.
Flirt as well, it doesn't need a lot of talking about SOMETHING ;)

I appreciate a lady to simply express her opinions in a "non-threatening" manner.
Myself working in THE MARKETING BIZ, I have a tendency to try seeing situations and opinions from YOUR perpsective before my own.
To [center] on A SPECIFIC opening line would cut off any "golden opportunity" for you to e-x-p-a-n-d on the hidden agenda that he or you might have. - So I am not suggesting any specific OPENING LINES. I hope you understand.
MY OVERALL SUGGESTION being to LEARN all you can about the guy and then find and even MAKE "topical" conversation about these ideas to catch his attention.

Girls have it much easier than guys.
Guys have to try to think of cheesey line or try to get the girls attention in the first minute, otherwise she is eyeing another guy.
All girls have to do is pretty much just say "Hello". It gets their attention quickly.
This is according to research I heard on the radio back in college.
