They really think they are better!
they see you as a sinner and a disgraced creature.

Good question. I think it's because they think just because they go to church it automatically makes them superior to those of us that don't go to church.
If I remember correctly, you're not supposed to judge others, that's God's job. God knows I'm a mess and I don't need anyone else judging me for it.

If they didn't judge people they would have enough time to read the bible so they would know that is God's job.

your question is so touching, if only they would not judge, not the church, but the so called do gooders, we go to build our strength from each othere, not to judge,it took me years to be able to say, I'm mad at you God , once I was able to admitt that, then the healing started
