No, it's not slander. Slander is a verbal statement - yours was written.
So, the real question is - is it libel. And, depending on the state in which you live, it's reasonably likely that your e-mail is privileged, unless the statement was made in bad faith, with an intent to cause harm to the teacher.

It is definately a defamation of character when you word things to make them it sound as if a person committed an illegal act that could cost them their job & standing in the community. What's wrong with sleeping in the same bed with your clothes on? A 19 year old is an adult & unless he or someone else has reported a crime to the Police, then you are way out of line in doing this & you could be sued. For now, I think a restraining order would protect you from yourself, as you are crossing a line into becoming a criminal. Just make sure the order goes both ways & also protects you from being harrassed by her & her son, in case they decide to get stupid about it. Good Luck.

NO! And the school could not file a slander suit against you, her or the son would be the only ones who could if their had been slander committed. There is not a charge of slander in criminal law and there would be no slander involved if you repeated what was told to you. A judge would not issue a restraining order unless you continued to contact her employer or if you were making threats.

Slander by definition is as follows: False statements made orally which bring another into disrepute.
Libel is by definition is as follows: To defame a persons reputation.
I think you should of not said a word. A 49 yr old and her 19 yr old son think it is okay and perhaps nothing is going on. I wouldn't even consider napping w/my son but then again I don't think it ever occurred to either of us. Maybe you can write an apology and retract your statement. Good luck.

My first question is what are you trying to accomplish by reporting this? Are you mad at her? Of course she/he will deny that she/he told you anything!
Even though what they told you sounds weird to you, frankly it is really none of your business. I strongly suspect that there is more to this story than you are saying. It seems like you are trying to get back at her for something by destroying her career.
I am not sure how you grew up, but when we have a lot of family all in one house, we crash wherever we can. It has never been an issue.
Let the matter drop, and hope they don't sue you.

Unless you can prove it it is slander. As a 49 year old and a 19 year old they are legally able to sleep together, and it was not your responsibility to report them.

do not even think of of asserting crap approximately umar or abu bakr or you at the instant are not Muslim on account that they are so suitable and incapable of doing any incorrect... or atleast they are able to do incorrect which you would be able to forget and forget approximately approximately. yet what the heck, Ankaboob is barely insulting the Prophets of Islam (as) and the organic relatives (as) of the very own Holy Prophet SAAW, so what's all human beings getting all so disappointed approximately, stunning? 8-) Do you ever lose interest of the hypocrisy you come back for the time of in this section from the so mentioned as Muslims?

Law. Oral communication of false statements injurious to a person's reputation.
A false and malicious statement or report about someone.
As you have no other evidence, other than oral admission from the teacher, you may have a case to answer. If they deny ever having told you and claim it to be a lie, you will be unable to defend your conduct as you lack corroboration from another source. It may well be claimed that as she no longer dates you, you are being malicious in making the report.

Dude ... who people choose to nap with is their own damn business.
Keep your nose out of other peoples business and stop trying to cause trouble for people.
It's not slander if its true, but you are harassing her and she should file charges for that.

If they are only sleeping and nothing is happening, why would you report it in the first place. This is a mother and child? Regardless of age, whats the big deal? Because she is a teacher? Did you only try to get her in trouble to be vengeful?
