Lebkuchenherz!
because it is made of ginger bread (Lebkuchen) and the shape is a heart (Herz).
A nice present for your friend when you visit for example the "oktoberfest".

This is an old standby trick from the 1950's, when decorated cakes made from cut-up round and square layers were popular. I'm modifying it to work for a cookie. Form the cookie dough into a large ball and roll it into a large circle. Cut half circles at an angle from either side of the larger one so that the bottom of the circle is now pointed. Place the half circles on top to form a heart, press the dough firmly together, and bake. Frost with white icing and sprinkle with pink-tinted coconut. It makes a very pretty cake, and it should make an equally pretty sugar or chocolate chip cookie.

yup it will definatly work, just be sure to check it often to make sure it doesn't burn and maybe lower the oven tepmerature a little bit. It will take longer than a normal cookie to bake. The only difference between a cookie pan and a cake pan is the height of the sides. You could also use the cake pan as a giant cookie cutter and then put the cookie on a normal cookie sheet, but I'd just make it in the cake pan if your only doing one.

Hi, I just visited Oktoberfest in Munich and I saw those cookies you are talking about. Visit the website and visit the dictionary, it is in there. I have seen it before. Sorry I don't know the name of them, but I know it is on the website.
