Which version of the Hulk? If it's the intelligent version, probably Superman would win, because he's invulnerable and has more sheer power, and the intelligent version of the Hulk is more restrained than the savage version. But what about the savage, rampaging Hulk? Well, consider this:

Doomsday killed Superman. Doomsday is a lot like the savage version of the Hulk, a mindless, unstoppable savage engine of destruction. But if the savage Hulk were to take on Doomsday, I think it's clear that Hulk would kick Doomsday's ***. The more Doomsday would hit the Hulk, the madder Hulk gets, and the madder Hulk gets, the stronger Hulk gets! So in the end the savage Hulk would mop the floor with Doomsday.

So if Doomsday is strong enough to kill Superman, and the savage Hulk could beat Doomsday, then it follows logically that the Hulk could also clobber Superman!

I'd say Hulk wins, but just barely. At his strongest (not counting Golden Age Superman) Hulk is every bit as strong as Superman, and just as tough. He might not have impenatrable skin but Hulk has regerative powers that Superman doesn't. In a no Holds Barred battle to the end Supes just wouldn't be able to cope with Hulk's tenacity. Hulk would just keep coming and wear the Big Blue Boyscout down.

And just to cut off the "Well Superman could just fly Hulk into the sun" argument, it is a long way to the sun. 92,955,807 miles to be exact... and at his fastest flight speed Superman can (theoretically) move at 93,141 miles per second (half the speed of light). At that speed it would take him almost 20 minutes or so to get to the sun... that is a long time to hold onto Ol' Green Genes. PLus Hulk Probally has a larger lung capacity than Superman. This means that in an airless enviroment he would last longer in a vacume, even when struggling. So Hulk has a better chance at winning... even without exploiting Superman's weakness to Kryptonite.

(I goofed on the math the first time around)

Superman

Superman wouldn't stand a chance. Hulk would keep coming and in the end, Superman's power would run out (like when he fought Doomsday). Superman would be able to knock Hulk around a bit, but that would only slow him down. If Hulk was able to get a hold of Supe, he would just squish the kryptonian to blue jelly.

Eventually the hulk will turn human again so then superman would win. While he is the hulk does he really have the mental capabilities to rationally use kryptonite as a weapon?

Superman unless the Hulk had Kryptonite then the hulk would probably win.

Superman would win, and here is how...
Superman would grab The Hulk and toss him into space. The Hulk, not being able to fly, would be stuck in space and eventually suffocate. While Superman would be able to fly back to Earth.

I'd definitely say superman. The hulk is strong, but superman is too and has all these awesome powers.
