Quitting instantly is healthier but very difficult. Get some nicorette gum or patches to help. Expensive but not as much as cigarettes.

not a matter of which is healthier
what will work for you. is best.
cold turkey is best for some gradual for others.
also like my sis used non nicotine cigarettes if had bad stress so while smoked again(habit) no more nicotine (addiction)and those many chemicals.
most have to try many many times as it is the most addictive substance and very few supports to quit.

easier to quit alcohol you can get in 30 day to a year long program.
that's what fines and taxes on cigarettes should go to instead of programs that have nothing to do with cigarettes..

Quitting instantly is the best because the input of dangerous chemicals would be stopped immediately, instead of slowly decreasing.

cold turkey is the best. if you cut down it is very easy to go back up again at the smallest little bump in the road. throw them all away, lock yourself up for a few days and just do it and never look back. you will never regret giving up cigarettes-i have nothing positive to say about them
