I love u all.....i personally sent byes to all my friends but im sure i missed out some......im leaving.....ive had a lot of accusations by Chris:#1Portugal Fan agnst me and they have deeply hurt me. it ended with her saying that i should go and get a life and thats exactly what im doing.....Living my life with my parents who are the only ppl who care abt me in this world. I just want to say that i'll miss u all......all the fights and the laughs we've had.......i'll cherish every single moment of it all. Dont take what I am gonna write personally.
Firstly, I don't really think Chris is a very bad person. She may have made some remarks, but it shouldn't affect you. This is just the net, so you needn't really take things very personally.
A lot of people say things behind a computer, that they dont normally say face to face.
In a way, all of us are strangers here because we live all over the world. It is very unlikely that you or I, will ever meet some (or any) of the people we correspond with here.
So even if someone here praises you to the high heavens, it can't really help in your daily life. The same goes to those who say nasty things.
You mustn't concern yourself or be psychologically affected by any post here. If you are, then you are not controlling your mind well or you are not mentally strong.
If you don't like Chris or anyone, just ignore them. This may be hard initially, especially if there are references to you. However if you can start by ignoring 1 post or comment, eventually you'll be able to ignore 2 , then 3 and thereafter: everything.
The trick is not to reply. Supposing I send a very nasty prvt message calling you a ****** etc, and you don't bother to reply, just deleting it or ignoring it, I may try again. However if you again ignore, then you limit my avenue to send others, because it will be stupid of me to keep sending when there are no replies.
But if you reply, you have made me aware that the message had the desired effect in stirring you up. I will continue in my tirades.
Lastly, it is my personal view (which others disgree) that there is no real need to post a question/ statement on leaving the forum. My reasoning is based on what I said, we all are basically strangers, there is very little that can be gained or lost by knowing someone here. If you feel you want to leave, just exit quietly, if you need to take a break from Yahoo Answers, just do it naturally.
Questions like this only solicit 2 kinds of responses. 1) A lot of people will praise and urgeyou to reconsider, or 2) Those who dislike you will urge to stay away.
However, psychologically, you have allowed your mind/thoughts/actions to be dependent on others, instead of yourself.
So just consider what I have said, if you feel there is some logic, accept it, if you think it doesn't help or is useless, just ignore it. Both are fine with me.
This is just like your team Chelsea ( of which I am an admirer), some people will praise them, but a good number will find every way to put them down and irritate their supporters. But the bottomline is that, you love your team, whatever someone else says will not alter your love.
So just stick around and continue your postings. Forget all that has happened and start afresh, like when you first joined, to make some online friends, talk football, share opinions and have a laugh.

Well, it's all been said above. I know if you reach deep down, you are a strong girl and can handle any criticism that may come. Like Romanis said Chels, this is a virtual world and opinions of others who do not really know us should be taken for what they are, a comment or judgement made by a relative stranger. You really don't need to go away, Chelsea. Just ignore Chris; easy to say, possibly tough to do, but this is a virtual world after all. We can contact and speak with those we wish to and blow off those we don't.
As for getting a life? Great idea, but again, that doesn't mean you have to exclude the Answers crowd. Just limit your time here and enjoy those folks you want to.
Just think about it, that's all I'm saying.

Aw... #1 Chelsea Fan, just because someone constantly speaks of slander against you, you should always know that you'll have people to back you up; and that includes every respectful user in this category who follows the Community Guidelines at all times! This category was always better when people like you were here, because after all, everyone is unique and experiences on this site are better when we can have opinions from a more diverse society. =D Sooner or later, everyone's going to leave when all of the users are just people who insult everyone they see.
If you'll really leave... I'm really going to miss you, but be sure to keep in touch at least once in a while, if that's okay. =)
