Go to the media to try to drum up some interest, I guess.
Then try to do something with the interest you generate - like a petition or something.
Go talk to your local politicians, tell them you're in contact with the media, ask them what their position is.
Check out the legal side of things - although I imagine they are legal. But check out pricing scales etc and see if you can find anything there worth following up.
That's all I can think of.

chat line have not ruined you family
lack of values has
technology creep has always been here
when tv was introduced there were those who ralied against it as an evil doer ( some still do.. )
dittoe for cell phones
ect..
as technology creeps into everyday living it your job as a parent and as head of the family to set values in the family to hold the family tighter and strong
failure to do that and the next big thing ( be it a PS2 ) will capture their imagination and lure them away from the family
so your campaign you need to wage is not against the technology, but your lack of values set in the value
it's very common for people like yourself to cry victim and blame others or technology rather than take control and see what shortcomings you family has

Sorry to hear this - but at least you got to keep your kids. Make sure you hang on to them. In fact can I recommend you see a lawyer and get a residence order? In my job I see situations like yours where so often the mother hangs onto the kids and as she doesn't want their dad in her life anymore, she often doesn't want him in theirs either. Dads often have to rely on the mother's goodwill to have any contact with their kids, so you are lucky in a way. But she might come back at any time and try to take them from you, or worse still she might go to court to get you out of the home so she can move back in with the kids. See a lawyer as soon as you can to make sure your position is as strong as possible. Many law firms offer legal aid or a free half hour, so check your Yellow Pages. Good luck. It sounds as if you and the kids are better off without her, but concentrate first on safeguarding your own position with the kids, before you start working on a campaign against chat lines. And are you sure there is nothing like that already in existence?

my ex met his current wife (ukrainian) whilst still married to me ,via chat lines, i know how devastating they can be. Its no use feeling that you want or need revenge. You need to get on with your own life. Invest in it and nurture your self esteem. There are still many times when i am on my knees in despair not knowing what to do or how to feed my daughter, but those times are getting fewer and the time between them longer. Let it go. Today just may be the day that something wonderful happens. God bless you and the very best of luck. x

Well if you start one I can help, chat lines broke up my family and put me into debt to pay his bloody sick phone bills. Its a problem that some people shrug off and don't realise the betrayal that you feel when your man has to turn to a voice on the end of a phone for gratification.
