It stand for 'Drive Into Layby' its an auto-pilot button.
when you think car is about to breakdown you press button and it puts on Left indicator and finds safe layby to stop in whilst awaiting AA. all renaults are fitted with it but If car is over 6 months old writing has probably worn off. Is it not in owners handbook or is handbook just a big catalogue of what to do in the regular event of a brakedown

Push it and see, but I think it stand for digital information log, It might display things like tripometer,Fuel consuption,Distance till empty and things like that. It's the best answer I can come up with.

hi...could it be 'dip the lights'...or, adjust the inclination of the dipped headlights?...not sure, easy to try though hey?
