Oh man if you replaced Mohammed with Bush and Islam with freedom I would totally agree

Mohammed was a peaceful man. The idea of a Muslim is a peaceful person spreading love and joy. In fact, a Jihad is in the Koran but it's only supposed to be announced when there is a threat against the religion. Current controversy has nothing to do with the Muslim religion but it has to do with terrorists, no matter what their religion.

If you read the Koran, or even just a few exerps, youll find out that radical muslims are using things like Jihads to their advantage. They take too much pride in their religion.

It's hard for people like you and me to understand because they live their religion so sternly.

you mean apart from the Pope?

A review of your questions, and the answers you vote as best (like: they are all a55 holes!!!) shows you have a serious racism problem. We live in a multi racial society. Dont be so simplistic about ascribing motives to groups of people. Rethink the way you review news and the media. Dont let selective reading and listening distort your views of what is real.
Angry racist hostility is like a poison and can spoil the quality of life for you, as well as others.
Try to be more moderate. Try to place your self in others shoes for a moment to see how that feels.
And in case you think I am a Muslim liberal wimp, think again. I am an Anglo Saxon and proud of the UK and its heritage (apart from its supporting Bush on Iraq).
I am more right wing than Attila the Hun but I can see your destructive feelings about race hurting yourself.
And as a specific answer to your question, I guess we have to judge people and events as products of their time. Certainly, it was a widely held view that conversion to Islam, as well as the removal of unbelievers brought adherents closer to Allah.

Yes.

Isn't it great you can post this question and we can answer it without fear of reprisals, living in the West is not perfect but at least we have freedom of speech.

I have no idea. He is dead!

Unfortunately, he was only semi-literate, so the book isn't too informative.

You must know less about Islam than I do. Suggest you get educated on Islam then you won't have to ask "Who else thinks" only thing that matters is what you know.

You seriously need to look into things before you make such comments. I am trying to see things from your point of view, but I cannot get my head that far up my A**.
