USPS New Stamp

How ironic is this?
They don't even believe in Christ, yet they're getting their own Christmas stamp.

To use this stamp would be a slap in the face to
all those AMERICANS who died at the hands of
those whom this stamp honors.

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of PanAm Flight 103.

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993.

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the Marine barracks in Lebanon.

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the military barracks in Saudi Arabia.

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the American Embassies in Africa.

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the USS COLE.

REMEMBER the MUSLIM attack on 9/11/2001.

REMEMBER all the AMERICAN lives that were lost in those vicious MUSLIM attacks!

Now the United States Postal Service REMEMBERS and HONORS the EID MUSLIM holiday season with a commemorative first class holiday postage stamp.

According to snopes.com, this is true. Be advised when purchasing stamps for the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons.

BOYCOTT this stamp when purchasing your stamps at the post office.

ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO BUY THESE STAMPS. CONTACT THE POST OFFICE TO COMPLAIN ASK THEM WHAT THEY WERE THINKING WHEN THEY CAME UP WITH THIS NEW STAMP---DID THEY NOT THINK THEY WOULD INSULT EVERY AMERICAN , DID THEY NOT EVEN THINK OF THOSE THAT HAVE LOST LOVE ONES TO THE TERRORIST ACTS THESE PEOPLE HAVE COMMITTED AGAINST US?

A U.S. postage stamp commemorates the Islamic holidays of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.

Dude, relax on the hatred! The terrorists win if you become a hater like them.

The Eid stamp is a another holiday design to represent another religion during the holiday season. It in no way promotes the killing of Americans nor does it dishonour those who have died at the hands of so-called "muslim extremists". The postal service also offers a Hannukah stamp, a stamp for Kwanzaa, and a Christian Mother and Child stamp. The Postal Service is here to serve ALL Americans, not just the white Christian racist ones. No one will be forced to take Eid stamps, and normally they are kept on hand for those who specifically request them.

This country is great because it is made of many different peoples of many nations and cultures, as I suspect your ancestors were. Islam is not a religion of hate and killing; it is, at its core, a religion of peace and education. A little education would go a long way, my friend. More Muslims have died at the hands of Christians, than the other way around. Not very Christ-like behavior to going around with hatred for your fellow man, eh?

Get over it, dude...... move on

Check your information there dear.

1. This is NOT a Christmas stamp. It commemorates the Muslim holidays Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha.
2. This is NOT a new stamp. It was released on the first of September, 2001. (If you want to discuss irony, I suppose there is a small amount in the fact that this stamp was released just 10 days before 9/11.
3. The attack on 9/11 was NOT a Muslim attack. It was a terrorist attack. If one (or ten, or even 100) Christians were to commit a terrible crime in the name of our/their lord, would you characterize it as a CHRISTIAN attack?
4. Your information was clearly plagiarized. This same MISinformation is cited on the snopes.com website - which does mention the stamp, but you have taken it out of context.

Everything that admiralcat said is correct.

The Eid, Kwanzaa and Hanukkah stamps are reissues of previous stamps in the .39 version.

The new Christmas issues are the Snowflake which came out on 10/05/2006 and Chacon Madonna which will be issued on 10/20/06.

These were TERRORIST attacks carried out by FANATICS. Can't you get it through your head that we are not at war with all Muslims!! I was in a Muslim country, Malaysia, last Christmas and you know what? All of their malls were decorated for Christmas because they get it. The understand that it is a time of peace and good will spending time with family. They don't have to believe that Jesus was the son of god in order to appreciate the season and the sentiment. They have more of the holiday spirit than many Americans.

Neocons don't make a lick of sense do they? You have to know they are the majority and in charge of the Government right now. George Bush is the "DECIDER" he said so himself. Do you think this is another ploy for the Muslim vote for the Neocons come November?

The EID has been available for years, originally issued 9/1/01 and every years since. Where have you been?

The USPS was supposed going to re-issue a 39¢ version of this stamp on October 6th.
I didn't buy any of the first issue (the post office where I lived then was having a terrible time trying to sell them), and I am not going to buy any this year.

This isn't a new stamp. Hell it still says 37 cents on it. This stamp came out back in 2000 or so.

you sound horribly bigoted.
shouldn't we make Friends with all religions . many Muslims have suffered at the hands of terrorists too or is that something you conveniently don't know to protect your need to hate a whole race?
every religion should get a stamp
or none.
our country is based in part on freedom of religion, all religion. not just yours or mine.
