this is normal for a man , he has been ashamed he has been be-littled everything he has probably already told you. now you want him to act like nothing ever happpened? you have hurt him , hurt his pride and that is only the beginning of some of his feelings. even tho you are sorry you can not change anything you did. how can you just take it back? let him kick his *** and maybe he will begin to heal!

I think the problem is more with your husband. You made, a mistake, fair enough. Things like this can happen in life. But you must both agree to put in behind you, and rebuild the trust between you. I think you need to move further away from the bloke you had an affair with, or ensure your husband does not ever see him.

An affair hurts! It get's all your brain cells going wacky.
You start to feel worthless, unloved.
Maybe his best way to get it out of his system is to lower himself as a man, and fight??
I'm not sure what you can do to get him to forgive you, but it will take awhile, sence you did the unspeakable and dented his male ego!
Can you stop and visulize how if the shoe was on the other foot how you'd react, or what you'd need from him to forgive? Try it and see if you come up with any answers.

I am going thru the same thing myself. My mistake was over 2 years ago and we still argue. I dont have an answer, but I too regret doing what I did and would do anything to fix my mistake too.

There is no way to fix something such as an affair. If your husband can not get past his anger over this, the relationship will never survive.

yea you made a mistake you will just have to live it for the rest of your life. You cant just forget about it because it sticks. Nothing you really can do about it he is hurts badly and he wants to express his feelings. I would go see a counseler for you two. You have no clue of how much pain he is feeling Ive been cheated on and its not a good feeling.

I am guessing you are a young couple. The only thing you can do is talk about it. It wont go away by itself. The resentment will be there forever. suggest topics for discussion, why did you stray? not good at home... why not? need varitaty? cummunicate this. He might be willing to redefine the relationship, ie open marrage, swingers

You need to be very patient and understanding with your husband. You need to let him know where you are every second of the day. You need to make sure he knows that you love and want only him. You need to earn his trust back. It will take a long time but it can happen. You need to say your sorry as many times as it takes.

You admitted that you know you made a mistake.....
Now how would you feel if your husband did that to you and then you would know how you will feel everytime you see that person......
This is the consequences your have to face for your poor judgement especial since you're married....
Jus give him time.....
