I thought it was brilliant but everyone tells me it's rubbish. What do you think?

I thought it was very funny, in an over-the-top ridiculous way. Having seen dawn of the dead and invasion of the body snatchers I knew what to expect in a movie on that subject but here were Shaun and his friends bashing their way through the equivalent situations played for laughs. It is among the few movies that I always watch on HBO whenever it comes on.

i think you should tell the people they obviously know nothing about comedy and to turn of their ken dodd dvd.
shaun of the dead was seriously funny, it was so good even george remero counts it as one of hs favourite films!
it came from a episode from one of the best tv series ever Spaced, if you havent seen it i suggest you turn off you pc march down to hmv break in if they are closed on a sunday and snatch the nearest copy of the shelf.
and for all you shaun haters out there i only have one thing to say.
for shame!

Full of excellent advice on how to survive a zombie Apocalypse. I truly believe this movie should be on everyone's must-see list and for those who don't see it or follow the advice therein: Ha ha! You'll all become brain-eating zombies!

You need to change who your "everyone" is. The movie is awesome. It can totally stand on its own as being a really great movie without it being a spoof. Watch it and get better friends. :)
