No special tools are necessary. But there are couple of special procedures you should follow.
1) Do not change the plugs if the car isn't COLD. You can damage the threads in the heads.
2) When you replace the plugs, if they are PLATINUM, do not gap them. You can damage the coating on the electrode(s).
3) When you insert the new plugs, be certain to use a conservative amount of a good Never-Seize compound on the plug threads. The plugs are steel and have "formed" threads, while the engine is aluminum and has "cut" threads. If no compound is used, removal for subsequent repairs may well cause major damage to the cylinder heads.
4) Use a generous amount of a good dielectric silicone gel lubricant (manufactured for this purpose) in the spark plug boot and the coil boot. Helps to reduce moisture and assists removal without damage to the wire ends.

Good Luck

Only tool needed is a standard spark plug socket and a ratchet with an extension.

Just replace one wire at a time so you don't screw up the order and have the wrong wire going to the wrong cylinder.
