There and a number of Muslims Fighting alongside Non-Muslim Troops all over the world and they seem to get on very well together, and indeed I have personal experience of this myself,so why instead of putting them down can we not support them and even thank them.
Whilst I am not religous I do not personally accuse anyone because of their faith,of being bad for the country and for those who want to call me a Muslim Lover think before you do so,and try to be more positive in your reply.

Thank You. I am grateful that there are people who don't demonise all Muslim people because of the actions of a very small minority. If I personally could bring peace to the whole world I would, but I cant, except I can be nice to the people I know and the good folk on Yahoo Answers!

I am not racist at all. However i am an extremely 'country-supportive' and traditional person. What i am about to say, i mean in the nicest way possible.

People from all over the world; from different cultures, religions and races are coming to our country by the thousands every week. And we are just letting them in, along with this are diseases also from all over the world ie TB- which is on the rise. All the 'white' people and English born are moving mainly to Australia, Spain, America and France. So what is England going to be like in 20 years time? All the English born will be gone and it won't be a white native country. I hate changes. I wouldn't be happy if this happened.. but what can we do? :( I do personally respect anyone of any religion, and don't discriminate against them.

Unless that particular person murdered someone.

I don't want to support those who beleive the UK should be an Islamic state, or those (30% apparently) who beleive the 7/7 bombers were "justified".

Or those who refuse to abide by our laws because they believe they should only follow Sharia Law.

Or those who see non-Muslims as "Infidels" and deserving of death.

I'll support those who are willing to live here as peaceful, law-abiding people, are willing to integrate and treat others, even non-muslims, with respect.

The rest (ie the examples cited above) should just go and live in a Muslim country.

Islamophobia is propagated by Western governments to replace the void left by the breakup of Communism. After all Western governments need somebody to blame and Christians and Muslims have been at it since Richard the Lion-heart popped over to The Holy Land for a summer break.

Have you heard the saying "When in Rome do as the Romans?" Well when i went to Dubai and Morocco I had to follow the laws of those countries. They are Muslim states and i had to do what was deemed as acceptable by them. England is a Christian state and i find it difficult to understand why so may people are in uproar. If you move away from your homeland you HAVE to accept some of the cultural values of the new country you move to. It just goes without saying.

Hi >
I happen to be a Christian by up-bringing, yet have lived and worked in many a predominantly Islamic country.
Been in Mosques, and found them to be a most pleasant and friendly place of "worship"
I have yet to encounter an unfriendly attitude.
Perhaps that is just me, being myself, a friendly sort of bloke.
So I do not fully understand extreme beliefs on what should be a common ground of peace, love, and harmony. And all that.
Regardless of which book you read from.
It all means the same.

Just my thoughts,
Bob

To paraphrase an American politician, "Show me a Muslim and I will not necessarily show you a Terrorist. Show me a Terrorist and I will most likely show you a Muslim." When the Muslims rise up against the insane terrorist leaders and destroy them, then will I support Muslims. Until then, I will suspect them all.

Man, I'm so tired of stating this fact to ignorant people. Study the Quran and you will see that terrorism is central to islamic doctrine. The muslims who do not practice violence are like catholics that dont take communion, they are not really practicing their religion. I am neither muslim nor catholic, by the way. I am a non-denominational christian.
