To be safe, you should complete and mail in a new voter registration form for your state. The rules vary slightly from state to state, but you should re-register if you have changed addresses since your last registration.
To find voter registration forms, you can either visit your local U.S. Post Office or most public libraries. Or, you can visit http://www.declareyourself.com and click on "register to vote," where you can download and complete a voter registration form for your state. Don't forget to print it out, sign it, and mail it to the address indicated on the form for your state.
And don't forget to VOTE on November 7, 2006 -- and remind all your friends and family.

In OH, registration is handled by county Boards of Election. The Franklin county BOE allows searches based on name or address. I don't know if your state is similar, but the BOE is the place to look. BTW if the registration deadline in your state is 30 days before the election, Tues, Oct 10 is the last day.

Contact the Board of Elections at your state capitol. Make sure the proper experts immediately scrutinize the new and rigged Republican owned voting machines from now up until the last vote is taken. Call for vote counts by outside human rights groups and not the members of the Republican party, who've been doing the counting after hours for decades.

Hmm.. I think I'd start with my village or city hall. The website might even have the information.
I googled "Illinois Voting" and got a few different options for looking things up, but I suspect the most accurate way to confirm is to find out where you would register to vote and then ask them if they show the change.
good luck!!

Many times if you do a web search for your County Board of Election they will have a search on their website where you can look yourself up. If your county isn't that "up to date" with technology, their phone number should be on there and you should just have to call them.
Make sure you check by Tuesday - that's the deadline for registering (in case you didn't get transfered)
Good Luck.
