What would you choose? Consider that I offer no guarantee as to what the afterlife would be.

The latter. This life is only temporal and will end at some time, even the thousand years you are offering. I'll take death in this life and eternal life after every time.

I'd pick the life after death. We are only here to prepare us for the afterlife anyway. I believe in an eternity in heaven with God for the believers in Jesus Christ, so I'm looking forward to it. A thousand more years of life would be horrible. Once everybody you ever knew was dead you would probably find that you now have a long time to spend alone. Who would want to go through so much more time experiencing the grief and heartache of the world?

it is tempting yet quite human beings are actually not meant to stay that long, they do no longer seem to be even meant to stay as long as they do now. If human beings did no longer die until eventually they have been 2 hundred they could be taking over area on an already overcrowded planet. it is egocentric and specific to bring about the top of mankind. I lots desire the thought replaced into in 70's sci-fi flick Logans Run the place all and sundry that reached the age of 30 replaced into terminated, in basic terms concern being I grew to become 30 2 years in the past.

Eternal life after death as I believe that God will purify me and take away all my sin's and selfish desires that I am a slave to here in this body. Life without worries about money, total acceptance, no addictions ... just pure love. WOW.

I have already chosen. I chose eternal life, given to me when I accepted Jesus as my saviour. In the process, I got it all...eternal life,no more tears/pain/sorrow , streets of gold, and a mansion.

1000 years because eternal life sounds good, but in the end you'll wish you could just shoot yourself
