One of the best I have used is the leaking flooding bathroom. It is a beauty and only to be used once. Sick relatives, ill parents, water / elect. cut off. Fleas, scabies or some other infectious condition!! Bit drastic but nobody would want to sit next to you. Have to travel to visit another sick relative. How about job interview. Good luck and remember you have to have a good memory and imagination to lie convincingly. I usually have convinced myself by the time I have to face the music !!

Tell em you have rectaloptomalothy... you just do see your *** going into work! course tell em you went to a buffet the night before and must ahve gotten some bad food.. montezoomas revenge.. they wont ask too many questions! lol

Tell them you are having a severe episode of vertigo. Those can last a mere day, and no hoarseness or any other symptoms you have to "fake" after it "goes away".
