Well thought out question. But be prepared for the backlash that will follow. Some people are so patriotic they forget how to think for themselves. Thats why people like hime are able to come into power. He's a republican and so am I so he must be right. Same as the democrats were willing to support clinton no matter what. Politics lead into close mindedness quickly. Philosophy loses its place here and emotions take over.
No I don't think it is right, neither are his thoughts about torture, but some people will attack you for even asking the question.

Obama should not be elected so your question is moot. (meaning it is not valid for those of you in San Francisco.) this is what is going to take place. on the Democratic national convention the great delegates are going comprehend that Obama isn't electable. so as that they'll throw him under the bus figuring Hillary can win without the black vote besides. this could throw McCain for a spin he won't have the means to parent his way out of quickly adequate. The Dems will as quickly as lower back administration all 3 branches and it is going to be a Clinton third term. you are able to take it to the financial company.

I'm a Patriot I love this great country. As a descendant of a slave I am deeply vested in this great nation and I would do anything to preserve it.
george bush in his absolutely trashing of the ideals of this country may do more to preserve the nation than people think.
I believe there is a major social and political conflagration on the horizon as a result of the crimes of this administration.
The great evils that bush and company have wrought must be atoned for. We as nation are going to have to do it willing or not.
I have faith that we as a nation will self correct and come out better for our shared struggle.

Get off it dude you are 100% wrong. Not always but on this you are missing the key motivator.
Bush attacked Saddam to fulfill a family VENDETTA.
It had nothing to do with oil or natural resources. It was all about getting Saddam.
Remember Richard Clark's testimony and the White house tapes confirm that. After Bush was sworn in. At the very first White house staff meeting Bushes first words were " OK, How do we get Saddam"
Getting Saddam is the primal motivator of this administration. Everything else like dead children is secondary.

You are absolutely correct in your assertions. It was not just the Oil but he had to expend the build up of arms that were stocked and the Military Industrial Complex were scratching for payback.
I hope his conscience helps him sleep well into old age.

Were lead by the incompetent,
In a war initiated by greed,
At the deaths of thousands of soldiers,
Their graves cry out in pain,
For the war has caused only hate.
Were lead by the dumb and blind,
We have sold our souls for oil,
As the terrorist grow stronger,
Our soldiers grow tired,
When will Bush quit his war of greed,
Only God knows what evil he has done.

Woe ! Everything you said, I agree with you, that is not so much of a question as it is a statement, well put. I think you know it is not right for anyone to be killed over a country's natural resource. but unfortunately this may well be the reality.

Are we surprised? This is the "leader" of a country where more of his people voted against him than for him, and yet he still became president.
