AIPAC, Teachers Union, Big Oil, NRA, AARP, etc....Basically the major Lobbyists control Washington. They can literally make or break any congressional or presidential election with their endoresment or their disapproval and nobody in America has that kind of power including the US voters. Lobbyists are just like the Mafia in that they have can literally buy, intimadate, influence, and/or blackmail politicans to do whatever they want them to do and many of the lobbyist use to be politicans so they know exactly how to expliot the system.

I would say multi-national corporations control the White House, the Senate, the House, and all the members therein through the use of lobbyists.
